The San Marcos Suns showed up in force and came
away with a 1st Place finish in the Adult Group.
We had three teams building in this catagory and the
theme was to not work to hard, but have fun through
out the day. The weather was absolutely the best this
year and the warm ocean water made the body surfing
a fun event. The party on Saturday night was hosted
by the Sheraton and none of us had to life a finger to
enjoy a great cajun shrimp boil, salad and deserts, and
our SM Suns Band performed to end out the evening.
I want to thank Mark & Vickye Lambdin for the Aluminum
Shrimp statue, for recognition of 20 years of some great
cajun shrimp boils over the years. I need to thank many
others who share in this award, Bobby Niemietz, Paul
McCullar, Ted Miska, and many others who made these
party very special.
